Ciclo
A menstrual cycle tracker built to understand premenstrual symptoms with statistics, grounded in published clinical criteria.
The phases, day by day
Move the day. This is a sample 28-day cycle: the app fits the phases to each person's own data.
Follicular
Oestrogen rises. This is the phase that varies most between cycles, and many people feel more energy and a better mood.
General information; not a contraceptive and no substitute for a doctor.
Real encryption, right here
The app uses the same building blocks as this demo: the passphrase becomes a key with PBKDF2-SHA256 and 600,000 iterations, and data is encrypted with 256-bit AES-GCM. It all happens in your browser; this page sends nothing.

Partner mode: the user decides
The summary is computed on the user's phone, encrypted with a key of its own and is the only thing that leaves it. Five levels, from most to least detailed:
What it is based on
- DRSP · Endicott et al., Arch Womens Ment Health 2006 — the diary symptoms and their 1–6 scale
- C-PASS · Eisenlohr-Moul et al., Am J Psychiatry 2017 — how to spot a premenstrual pattern
- FIGO 2018 · Munro et al. — which length and regularity are normal
- Bull et al., 2019 · npj Digit Med — more than 600,000 real cycles: a 29.3-day average
- Wilcox et al., 1995 · NEJM — the 6-day fertile window
What is inside
- The key is derived from a passphrase on the phone: the server only stores ciphertext.
- Predictions and per-phase analysis based on scales such as the DRSP.
- A partner mode with five levels; the person using the app decides what is shared.
- A printable report for the doctor and a desktop version with automatic updates.
